Let’s start right off with the surprise that
awaited me when I got down to Atlanta.
As you know from email #2 I was busy researching
the information for my eBook on Affiliate Marketing
that had been assigned to me to get as much completed
as I possibly could during the week I had before
I left for Atlanta.
Well I was able to pretty much finish it because
I discovered a shortcut that many people never even
knew I had discovered or was actually using.
I dare say nobody including my coach even knew. It
was something I discovered during my research as I
was researching the name Liz Tomey. That should
give you the first hint right there.
But before we go into any of the eBook let’s get
to Atlanta because all of the sudden the eBook did
not seem to matter at the moment to Keith.
When I arrived in Atlanta Keith informed me that
he discovered something going on that I needed
to make sure I made happen. He guaranteed me it
would help me out even more than he could teach
to me during the week I was going to be with him.
He wanted e to attend a live event that was being
put on by Ken McArthur in Atlanta that weekend
and the event was called Get Your Product Done.
He knew many of the speakers there and he knew
it was exactly what I needed at that moment.
I on the other hand was not very excited about
this new development. I was about to be thrown
to the wolves as far as I was concerned.
Why would I want to go and hang around all of these
guys that I was reading about during my research
that were making crazy claims of how much money
they were making. They were making more money in
a month than I made in a couple years of work at
I had a picture in my mind of what this was going
to be all about and I did not see myself fitting in
with this crowd at all. I decided to go but with
the intent of just observing from behind some pillar
in the room or from a far away corner.
Once we got to the event I was soon drug out from
behind the pillar and loudly proclaimed to be Keith’s
Dad. From that point on I was introduced to many
of the so called “Gurus” who I found to be no different
than I was and all seemed to be more than willing to
speak to me and help me out with my project, especially
this guy named Harris Fellman.
During a break he asked me a question that would
change the whole course of our action plan that Keith
had laid out for us.
Harris ask me how much money I was hoping to make during
my product launch and when I told him I was hoping
to make at least $10,000 he responded with a couple
words that I won’t use but he pretty much wanted to
know what Keith was thinking and why he was limiting the
potential that a good product launch really had.
He asked me what I made a year at the job I was working
at and when I told him around $65,000 he said to go let
Keith know that our knew goal was $65,000 for the
product launch and see what Keith’s reaction would be.
When I informed Keith he was like, “What? Dad do you
know what a launch like that is going to take?” I
simply responded with a big, “No I do not but if it is
possible let’s go for it!”
Little did I know what I was going to be doing to
have a launch of that magnitude. All of the sudden
the little eBook I was working on did not seem all
that important to Keith.
Keith jumped at the challenge before him but he assured
me that we had a ton of work to accomplish now and that I
needed more for my product now. I needed some really
good content, a great hook, as many JV partners as we
possibly could get and, some killer sales copy written.
These were the things that seemed to be the missing
ingredients to propel my launch to the level we wanted
to take it to.
He gave me two tasks at that point that I had to get
done while I was still at the event. We had 2 days left
at the event and what he asked me to do drove me farther
out of my comfort zone than I had ever been before. In
fact I found a new place within the FEAR zone that I
never experienced before in my life as well.
I grew up a very shy and reserved person all the way
through my school years and I was not at all excited
about what was to come up next.
Now before we get to that let me ask you a couple
#1 Are you pushing your comfort level with the things
that you see you need to do when it comes to fulfilling
your dreams and reaching the level of success you are
Does it cause you to back down? What about just plain
freezing up and searching for an excuse within as to
why you will not be able to accomplish what you have
set forth to accomplish?
#2 My second question is, Are you limiting your potential?
Both of these are things that you need to ask yourself
as you prepare move forward.
These are both things that could have prevented me from
having the success I had with my very first product launch.
Every ounce of me wanted to say stop because it was not
something that I was feeling comfortable in doing. I
was facing new fears in my life that had me pretty scared
to say the least.
As far as the limiting my potential I didn’t even know
that I was limiting the potential I had. But once I
found out what was going to be required of me to reach
the new level I was striving for I could have very
well let the fear stop me from reaching my potential.
Between now and the next email where I reveal to you
the difference between a $10,000 launch and the 6 figure
launch that I had, I want you to do a little self-evaluation.
Stop and look at the direction you are going right now.
What goals do you have. Do you even know what it is
that you would like to accomplish right now let alone
6 months from now or even 3 months from now?
Are there things that are challenging your comfort zone
right now ro things that are limiting your potential?
Take a good look at yourself in a mirror as well and
listen to what you hear yourself saying back. That may
surprise you in itself.
I will get the next email out in the next day or so, but
until then I want you to discover the greatness you
have within you and then stand in that greatness.
PS: I guess I told you I had a FREE gift for you today.
Well I better deliver on my promise as that is something
that is very important in building relationships of any
The first is the very first eBook I wrote called
Now I want you to take a good look at it. I look back
on it and notice all of things I could have done different
such as better formatting, more content to better teach
